Sunset Session ~ Southport Spit, Gold Coast.
It was great to catch up with Tait and his family for a beach sunset session! This little man holds a special place in my heart. His parents contacted me early on in their pregnancy to start a maternity timeline, I started photographing Kayla’s bump at 12 weeks 🙂 I got to see and spend time with them every month, they are such a lovely couple!
On the 11th of November Tait Jai was born, he was my very last newborn for 2014 and the last newborn to be photographed in my Craigieburn home based studio… 🙁 A work relocation for my husband forced me to say to goodbye to my hometown of Melbourne and move to sunny Brisbane!
Anyhow fast forward 18 months, Tait and his family are up on the Gold Coast for a family holiday and of course they contacted me to capture some updated family photographs! They asked for a sunset beach session 🙂
The session took place at Southport Spit Pier in Surfers Paradise, it is the first time I had been there. I did not realise it was an off the leash dog beach! There were so many nice spots for photos, the pier itself is a beautiful backdrop!
Here are just some of the photos from their online gallery! I hope you enjoy looking through them 🙂

Hi, my name is Kylie and I am the photographer at Snugglebug Studios! I am based in Murrumba Downs, North Brisbane and offer Maternity, Newborn, Child, Family and Cake Smash Photography sessions.
Photography has been a passion of mine for quite some time. My main focus is newborn photography, capturing babies aged 5 to 10 days. I use a combination of both natural and studio lighting in my Murrumba Downs home studio.
Most sessions take place during the week with only a handful of weekend sessions available per month so please if you want a weekend date book ahead to avoid disappointment as they are normally the first to go!
I look forward to meeting you and your family!
